Hi Spike I've moved the chilli thread back up if you re-post on there I'm sure Stacey will know what they are image

  • Thanks KEF!

  • Spike, have you eaten one yet?

Habs have quite a distinctive taste and heat.

What was the source of your Orange Habanero seeds, could these plants have come from those seeds or not?

  • I haven't eaten any yet, but as soon as they ripen i will!

its not likely the seeds were from my Orange Hab's seeds since I labeled the Orange habs.. Only thing i can think of is I ordered seeds online(Bhut Jolokia i think) and mabye got wrong seeds?

I don't know where you are spiketiger, but if you're anywhere near Chichester, West Dean Gardens ( a fabulous place ) are having their chilli festival this weekend.

I'm sure someone there would ID it for you.

We're planning a visit on Sunday.

I wonder if Stacey will be there.

    Devon.
  • That sounds amazing... I wish i could be there but i'm far away, in Israel image

  • hahah yup

  • Spike, agreed they don't look like Bhuts, so getting some 'wrong' seed is a possibility.
