Mildew problems

Hi,

I am getting lots of mildew problems in my garden. It started on my strawberries, then goji berry and now I have noticed it on a Jacobs ladder and finally on a Salvia. The Jacobs ladder is in partial shade (from a fence) in a newly planted sloping border. I water the border every night when it doesn't rain. I also have anemones and geraniums in the garden and am worried that these will soon be affected too.

For a lot of the time the garden has been a construction site as I have just finished landscaping it. Can anyone suggest a way I can beat this pesky fungus and stop it from causing anymore problems. The strawberries, goji and the Jacobs ladder have all been cut down and removed from the garden.

I have just bought a bottle of DB Plant Invigorator, environmentally friendly.

I haven't used it for fungus yet but it did work on greenfly and white fly in the greenhouse.
