I would like to know what kind of flowers or shrubs can I obtain that attracts ladybirds and butterflies in late summer? Preferably perennial

    I have rudbeckia, also sedum autumn joy and kaffir lillies all perennials

    Sedums (the iceplant ones rather than the little ones)  are very good for late flower power as cathy says. Buddleias are always good and flower well into autumn. The late flowering Asters are also good - lots of different varieties, sizes and colours.

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
