Can anyone please tell how tall black hollyhocks grow as one of mine is about 18ft and another about 10 ft.

I've seen lots at 10 ft but 18ft is pretty impressive

10ft flowers sounds even better than the pictures on the packet. Now I am really looking forwards to next summer
I've been wrestling mine and staking and tying them back today. Not black ones though. Mine are red and pink. They were about 10 ft high.
I don't know if there's more than one variety of blacks but when I just looked them up according to my book they're between 5 and 8ft. Sounds like you got the giant ones.
