What is the best for general planting and potting multi purpose compost or peat free multi purpose compost. Sorry if I have posted this twice.

Hi. If you put 'Which? compost' into the search box at the top of the page several threads should come up. The one I started - Which? compost refers to composts available this year. Also the advice, this year in particular, is make sure you are buying fresh compost. Because of the wet summer last year alot of compost has been lying around since last summer. Look for bags that are undamaged and are not faded. Hope this helps.
