disguising Leylandii
Have just had row of Leylandii reduced to 20 feet and trimmed the sides. Trimming over the pond has required cutting into the brown bits which I know wont produce new growth. Any ideas for disguising the brown bits....maybe a very tall climber ??? Can't get rid of the conifers as they provide a sound and visual barrier. Any creative ideas would be welcome!

I also have the same problem and any suggestion would be greatly appreciated
Thank you pansyface!
I've always favoured the flamethrower...
See my other posts on Leylandii, my best ever gardening decision was having the buggers shredded by a tree surgeon!
I'm sure in some states of the usa , shredding buggers is still legal
Depends how cute they are...
tee hee.
Boys will be boys.
Clematis montana grows fast but anything is going to take quite a while to that sort of area. I guess you would ideally like something evergreen too.
