RAISED VEG PLANTER SOIL

Can someone please advise what I should add to my raised planter soil. Last summer, my 1st year I planted the usual salad vegetables and celery and through the winter  have grown leeks and purple sprouting brocolli. I have noticed that the level of soil has gone down a couple of inches. When the latter have finished should I just top up with good compost soil or  should I be adding manure or other nutrients? many thanks

Add manure or chicken pooh pellets. I also top up with compost.

Thankyou. What about some seed weed nutrient?
