I have an area down the side of my drive which is shaded by next doors very large sycamore trees. I love my Leycesteria, easy to take cuttings from too. Mines well behaved too, but I do trim it from time to time. Love the 'dangly' flowers on it.

What about Hydrangeas or astilbes, bleeding hearts, ladies mantle or some ferns
