Brambles & roses

Hi,
I have some rather well established brambles growing in amongst my climbing roses. Is there a weedkiller which is effective against the brambles but which won't harm the roses? (Digging up the brambles is not an option as there are too many & I am disabled.)

I've had some success using SBK targeted at brambles growing through some established azaleas - see thread copied below for suggestions:
