Make sure you wear protective clothing including face mask in case of splash back. Don't believe the label that it is harmless. Make sure you have access to water to rinse off any spills.image

Well, job done. Im not too sure if its been a success but time will tell. Im very happy with the level, got it very close to perfect. I would also say there will be weeds to come as never killed them all but did pull the few that were visible. What is a safe weedkiller to use on a new lawn, i take it gallup 360 is not.

I rotovated it, lifted more stones, rolled it, raked it, watered it, fertilised it, sowed it, rolled it and again and watered again..

I am also still not happy with the amount of small stones still present but my helper who used to do the grass in graveyards said the small stones are no issue and you'd be there a month taking them all out.

    Any thoughts...pics to follow...

Don't worry about weeds at the moment  - you really mustn't use any weedkiller on a newly sown lawn - the majority of weeds that appear will be annual weeds and a good mowing regime will sort those out.

Talk about bare earth policy!  Well you've certainly got a clean slate to start off with.  What are you planning to put in there?  Lawns or garden beds?image

7 days and still no grass. Not sure what to do? Give it another week hopefully
