Moving a lupin
in Plants
my lupin has flowered and was attacked by greenfly. I have cut it back now and was wondering if I can move it as its huge and nothing around it has had chance to grow. Can I move it now or wait a while?

Best time to move it is autumn.. say September or October but lupins are fairly hardy and if it's already finished flowering and you've cut it back I doubt you'll do any harm to it.
Be warned though I'm a bit brutal when it comes to moving plants and doing things when you're not supposed to.... but generally I only have things in my garden that will survive brutal treatment.
I have lots of lupins
Verdun - will the seeds that I grew into small plants this year be safe to put out in the ground to overwinter?
Thanks Verdun - if only I had a GH - I do have one of those flimsy plastic mini grow houses so that will have to do.
