Raspberries ripening unevenly

The majority of my raspberries have started to individually ripen unevenly. About half of the individual fruit ripens at a slower rate but if I don't pick them soon enough, the riper parts start to rot. The leaves and stems still look healthy and the fruit is a good size. The canes are a couple of years old and are producing good fruit. Any ideas what is causing this?
