had 4 of these given by a friend, who didnt know what it was.  It has put on loads of height and leaf and is just about to flower, but i am suspecting its not really a good plant and i dont think i want it seeding. Any ideas?

Looks like a teasel, but I may be wrong, I'd keep it. If it is a teasel the goldfinches love the seeds.

It looks a lot like the zinnias i grew. Wait for it to flower. So long as you dead head it , it wont seed everywhere.

One is nearly out, yellow, a bit like a small sunflower, but lots of them, sort of multi-headed.  Leaves are huge, but not pretty. Whole thing is about 4ft.

im getting a 503 service unavailable from the upload.
