Potatoes & Carrots

in Plants
Hello!
I have just harvested some Potatoes this morning that I had growing in bags, which has got me thinking about what to do next!
Instead of growing in bags next time I would like to use my Raised Bed which is much deeper.
I would also like to try growing larger Potatoes next time, as much as small Charlotte ones are great at this time of the year I do prefer big Jackets
Do any of you have any recommendations of which to use?
Also I have just harvested my first Carrots, do I have time to sow any more for this year or have I missed the boat? It's my first year growing them.
Many thanks.

There's a great guide to the best potato varieties for various cooking methods here:

You just about have time to grow some carrots now - choose early varieties such as Nantes early, Napoli, Nelson and Mokum.
Thanks for the link.
I have a packet of Nantes so will get them sown
