Plant ID Please

I have been looking for a while to identify this to no avail. At the moment is it about 4 foot tall. It has tiny flower buds at the axis of the leaves/stems which open yellow.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Looks a bit like a hibiscus but the ones in this country tend to be mauve.
Be nice of it is. Previous owners left it. Its the first year I have noticed any sort of flower. Thank you.
A clear picture of a flower would assist in ID

Yes Nut - I will try again tomorrow to catch one. They are very small about an inch across a tad daisy-like.
Could it be coreopsis tripteris
This looks like a shrub/small tree rather than herbaceous plant
