This was never planted, it arrived last year, didn't flower, but I left it to see if anything would happen. Well it has, a flower spike has appeared. Looks kind of pineapply. Would appreciate an ID if poss - thanks.
obelixx, Just googled it and looks like you are 100% correct. Clever you . It says it comes from a bulb, but can be propagated by seed. So either bird or in cow poo which was put on it 2 years ago. It's in a very unfortunate place tho and it can't really be seen - shame
It is a bulb and they do come readily from seed. You can move it once the foliage dies down or possibly even as soon as the flower finishes but it looks like that will be a while given it's so small and not yet fully developed.
