So what's new - i have double deep beds for better drainage -I can't see me digging out my new paths in thick clay that deep, and again not that much content. Joes bit could have been a whole programme, I'm sure there's more to winter border than dogwood
It was good to just see a gardening programme but I always feel unsatisfied when GW has finished.
Hi, Dove. I quite agree about the lack of depth, but that has to do with the lack of time and it is unsatisfying. It reminds me of the newer methods of schoolteaching where everything is delivered in five-minute nuggets, as though people could not concentrate for longer.
I especially enjoyed Joe planning the cottage garden. Would love for him to come and plan for me. He wouldn't believe just how small some peoples gardens are!! 7m by 4.6m.
same here I thought what to do now bit - what it is nearly over already I was enjoying that, I do think it would be nice if it was a bit longer
It was like spring a bit warmer then went colder may be summer came and went
makes me feel like I need to sort out this and that in the garden my list will be getting longer and also need to sit and look at displays like Joe did just enjoy the garden and get plant for smell like Rachael was looking at

Thanks for the reminder gardening grandma. I'm not much of a TV watcher and tend to let things go by me. Loved the winter garden.
Been to visit friends today. They have Daphne 'Jacqueline Postill'. Stunning, scent hit me as i got out of my car.

Too much crammed into too little space.
Nice to see Nigel looking well, although I thought Monty was starting to look his age.
