puzzle plant

I don't know whether anyone remembers my weird plant . I realize now as it has grown thanks to the people who were able to help identify it as a teazle I am seeing quite a few around There are a lot that grow wild by the local stream and I think they were used to comb wool as once long ago this was a sheep producing area.
Now the plant the plant is slowly turning a lovely shade of blue it is attracting hundreds of hover flies and lots of worker bees too .

Yep - teazel is great for bees: my beekeeper friend encourages them. Goldfinches love the seeds too, and it was used to tease (teaze) out the strands of wool.
Nice to have an update herbgarden. Lucky bees
