  • I agree with lw .. Child friendly garden should not deliberately be planted with deadly poisonus plant .. Plenty of other choices could be made .. I was a child who grew up with foxgloves in the garden and was terrified of the bees hiding inside them to get close enough to taste them but did eat most everything else !!

    Deadly poisonous, is an over emotive term. Remember that a very important life saving drug is made from Foxgloves.

    the only child friendly garden I know is a padded concrete yard!! but make sure the padding isn't dyed, we wouldn't want them sucking the dye out and poisoning themselves!

    But personally I would rather risk children in a garden with plants that could harm them and keep an eye on the young ones and educate to older ones!
