What a sensible idea, Bev. I tend not to think of pots as I have a bi garden but I might treat myself to some colourful primulas to greet me near the front door
As Spring hasn't descended on our garden as yet and leaves are still lingering in their buds I thought I'd share this pic from the end of January this year.
Still at the digging, manuring stage, one "Early Sensation" clematis in, but no flowers on it. Then I planted a bit more and went to England for 10 days.
My babies in the GH grew while I was away.

AS this thread is for gardens visited as well I thought I would post these 2 pictures.
Last weekend I visited York Gate Gardens, near Leeds. I took these to give me a couple of ideas for my garden. perhaps they will give you some as well
