    I've been redesigning...again! I had separated 2 parts of the border with wire sticks and planted lupins and rudbekia along them. Like this ....

    I'd been niggled by the fact I couldn't see my acre then autumn comes! So the new Plan is to make a new path to the acre. I only needed to move one lupin and the rudbeckia, now lining the other side of the new path.

    Just waiting for the daisy and penstemon to finish to put more paving down. Not sure what paving yet.

    oops, acer not acre !

    oops, lupins and rudbekia hadn't been planted in that pic.

    Just looked back at Leadfarmers pictures and see he has a clenmatis Piliu in a pot.

    I Was wondering whether to go for the clematis offer in the GW magazine. Now I have seen that, may give it a go. I have a lovely empty blue pot just waiting for something.

    Looks that way in the photo, but Its actually growing in a border by the garage. The pot in front of it is my Hosta.

    I like your path. Did you lay it yourselves, how did you get the nice curve? Did you do it by eye or use a marker?

  • David and others.. loving the Acers.. i cant grow them as far too salty winds and sand that sand blasts the woodwork for yaimage

    Mrs gardener.. love your sculptures in yr garden. an yr path.. are is just coming on and we have edgers like yours but paving slabs in the middle.. been nightmare cutting them to go round the corners.. but doin ok.. will add piccie when its done..

  • this is a comos that i grew form seed form lat years plants.. and the colors have mixed right up!!!

    a mix from Pink Fizz and didcot...
