Dying box hedge

I planted a dozen or so box plants last year; 2 of them have turned completely yellow and effectively died in the space of a month or so. Any ideas what the problem might be and what to do?

    Box blight?

If it is, then you will have to remove and destroy any affected plants image

Box can suddenly give up the ghost especially when young. Good preparation is key and regular watering even in winter. They like their water and reasonable drainage. Sometimes its down to the plants you but as well. Just buy a few more, they'll grow in time and blend in.

A small percentage of mine have done this. As above, look after well and replace.

All my small, 9cm pot plants are now shaped into 'boxes' in less than two years.
