Wilting oregano and parsley!

Hi folks, it's been a while since I've been on here! I hope everyone is well image

I was recently bought some herbs for our new garden which is in partial sun- parsley, basil, oregano and chives. My basil and Chives are doing wonderfully, but poor old parsley looks like a mop! It's sort of drooped- at first I thought it was because it was planted in the shady part of the garden so today I moved it into a sunnier spot and watered it, then watered it again later in the day as the soil was dry... why could it be droopy?

Also my oregano is looking a bit peaky- I popped that into a sunnier part of the garden and watered it again- should that cheer it up?

Thanks guys!

  • Thank you! The oregano looks like it's perked up already a little since I moved it this morning, and the parley might need a bit more convincing, but it's still nice and green and healthy, just... droopy, haha!

The oregano looks a little leggy though, will pruning it help?

Pruning will help. I live in Dordogne, hot summers, parsley needs a lot of water.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
