    I agree a tree seedling growing through a Skimmia.

    I do have a hydrangea close by, so could be another.

     

    I will let it grow to see what comes of it.

    Looks like some sort of willow.

    Have you got any prunus nearby?  Looks like a cherry or plum sucker to me.  I'd get it out pretty quick before it becomes huge.
