Hi, does anyone know what this fruit is please? Moved house and have this fruit tree in garden. Hopefully photos have loaded ok. Thanks in advance!

Thank you, I think the flesh was actually white, but soon changed once the air got to it! Will check out those suggestions, thank you.
It does look very like the Sops In Wine apple that grew in my old village - the locals called it Sopsey Winer. The apples grew quite large, were good eaters and were very popular with the chap who made lots of cider
