'Burnt' Hydrangea

We have a small hydrangea in a container whose leaves have got singed in the hot weather. There are some flowers buds appearing, but would it help to remove the burnt leaves?

Not really, if it's only the edges of the leaves. Make sure the plant is getting plenty of water - they're very thirsty plants - they also prefer being in the shade, especially if they're in a container
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
