apple tree

I have a apple tree that gives full blossom, and forms apples the size of a cherry then they all fall off.  any one can help me solve the problem why this happens each year

  • Hi, I have the same thing each year but my tree is still full of apples. I think this is a natural thing to happen, seem to remember Monty Don talking about it.

June drop. The tree can't sustain every fruit it produces so it naturally discards some.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

With the June drop the apples you do get are usually bigger but less in quantity , which is better than loads of small apples .

Do you end up with any apples at all  also how old is your tree ?
