my judas tree has got very tall and leggy. When and how do I prune it
The judas tree (Cercis siliquastrum) needs to be pruned during the summer. Cut the dead and damaged wood away. And avoid the new sprouts are growing to close to each other. This variety does need a chalky soil.
It's almost impossible to replant the judas tree because of it's very long pen shaped root
