  I don't think you could store them but you could prepare them if it's just on the outside and keep the middle bit,sometimes bought one's aren't very good, ijust cut the bad bits out and use the good bits. Cut them up put in freezer when cooked.

  Dispose of (not in your compost bin) the badly affected ones; Remove the rot from the mildly affected ones, cut up lightly boil and then freeze; Dip the very lightly affected ones in the stuff you use to sterilise baby's bottles and then store for use in the short term. Works for me.
