I use shade cloth it helps drop the temp on a hot day to a bearable level for the plants inside,

i also have a 150 ltr slim line water butt in the greenhouse that acts as a heat sink (heat goes into the water during the day - cooling the greenhouse and gives the heat back out at night) I've extended this to my works polytunnel where i had a 1000 ltr IBC installed inside, I've actually adapted the top to work as a heated propagator in spring now!

Thanks for the compliment Katherine W, that's one side tomatoes the other.

treehugger80, I could do with your water butt in my glasshouse, I have two one either side, outside to catch rainwater, I do keep watering cans full inside, and splash water a couple of times a day onto the floor, helps the humidity, good for setting tomatoes, which we are now eating, there is also a row of tomatoes out in the garden, Gardeners Delight, the nice little sweet ones.
