Can anyone help me identify this plant and what is wrong with it?

Hi there. I'm trying to get my garden in ship shape order having lived here for a year.  I'm really not sure what this is, can anyone help me identify it and what is wrong with it?

    it certainly could do with a good feed. The name escapes me, but I seem to think it starts with L.

    I tend to agree with philippa smith2. I have 1 in my front garden which looks like yours Shinkette.
