A new greenhouse in July

Poppy26Poppy26 Posts: 4

my daughter has just moved to a house with a large and somewhat neglected garden. A major onslaught by extended family is making good progress. I have renovated 2 smallish greenhouses. One has a central path and earth borders. The other is entirely paved with a hacked back - not by me- vine which is planted outside.

My question is what could be put in these empty spaces right now? Too late for tomatoes etc. Not expensive please and not requiring watering twice a day as busy life and no automatic watering system in place yet. I need to persuade her that they can stay!!

thank you.

you can still pick up chillies at the GC, ( many of them reduced) which would love a greenhouse, and there are things like penstemon which can produce cuttings at this time of year.
