Akebia Quinata for North facing wall?

GW magazine suggests north facing, internet says sunny position for this planr. Confused as magazine suggests it for a north facing wall but when i searched your plant section it says for a sunny or semi shaded spot. I am about to buy one for a wall that gets no sun at all, should I?
