i really miss that gardening channel. The Beeb has so many past GWs it could show - we could easily have a daliy one from the right week of the year. Come on Beeb!
The new season starts next Friday. There's a 3-page feature in next week's Radio Times. If you click on these images, and then click again to enlarge, you can read the text...
To be fair to the BBC-they do try to cater for all tastes-but you cant please everyone-as for showing old programmes a lot of repeat showings are a question of rights issues-it is not just a matter of taking one of the shelf and sticking it a DVD player
There are other channels out there-who also do not embrace the gardening mantra
yippee will look forward to it yes and why isint there a gardening channel out of all the idiot reality shows there are i wonder who i could write to and complain
It's interesting to see the map of Monty's garden but where is the pond? I would love to see more gardening programmes. I have DVDs of Geoff Hamilton but have to watch You Tube for How to Be A gardener and old episodes of Gardener's World. I'd love to see Alys's Edible Garden again.
Only thing with the last gardenin channel...it was all repeats. I say fetch it back. Us forgetables need the repeats lol. I dont know about everyone else but so sick of the whole wedding tv...fitness tv...etc. They dedicate 2 to food so why not us mudbunnies? Cant wait for GW to return.
your right sam, there are a million cookery programes, along with so called reality tv, history, wildlife, home improvement, house programes, drama and crime. But no dedication to one of the main sources of life on this planet - plants

Considering how mutch a tv licence costs these days, you think they would try to show something for everyone..
