What is this evergreen shrub?
i'd be very grateful if anyone is able to identify this plant for me. I'm baffled, and so are the experts at my local garden centre. It's evergreen, with woody stems, and bears white flowers in July (not quite open in these photos, which were taken yesterday. It's taking over a bed, and I need to know how to prune it. Many thanks, if you are able to help!

Georgina, thank you for your reply and your exoertise - you are a genius! It's definitely a mature Hebe salicifolia specimen. This is the first time I've used this forum, and I'm really impressed!
I couldn't see the photos either so DianneW must be amazing.
Georgina I mean - doh!
Nor me Jandh, that's very odd. Can't see Georgina's reply either.
Odd
Better make sure I haven't ignored Georgina somehow.
