gotten wet now....dampish humid week ahead.  Perfect for blight.....?

so far I have healthy plants with lots of tomatoes ready to ripen.  All but 3 plants are in the gh but blight can get there too. I have removed more lower leaves to help good ventilation and make sure foliage is kept dry.  Not a lot else to do in preparation if blight does come....as I think it will

is italophile about?

Verdun, not sure where you are but I could live with humid if that would also mean warmimage

Send your unwanted rain over here, I'll take it, no problem.

Cathy, I'd be happy to send you up to 10 degrees C off our afternoon temps, for free!

We've had quite alot of rain in the NW mainly during the night, we do tend to get more than most at this time of year.

Not good news about blight though my spuds are just in front of the GH door and no where near ready for harvest. Dug some up on Saturday but most are still quite small.

Verdun, perhaps if you put tomatoes in your title then Italophile might notice it.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Verdun - I haven't taken any lower foliage off my plants yet. Would you recommend doing so? They are in GH, the vents and door are permanently open.
