lawn invader

Hi all, new here so be gentle!

    What colour are the flowers? if yellow it is black medic which is easily removed by tracing the runners back to the stem and then using a knife to cut off under the surface

    Definitely a speedwell. You can just see a blue flower in the photo. Can't tell the species from this though. Veronica filiformis is the commonest as a weed of lawns.
