Jingo, for future occasions just remember that you can wash off most "bugs" with a water spray, without doing harm to anything. Or if you know that they are damaging your plant, you can squash them. Free as well!
Hey Jingo, no one is having a pop at you. We all have to learn, I did use chemicals many years ago. Nature often sorts out a problem. Weed killers have their uses, as long as you realise the downside of using them. I don't use Bug Killers anymore. Nature usually sorts the problem, but many gardeners do use them, it is just worth considering the consequences to the good wildlife too. Enjoy your garden and I hope that not too much damage was done. Happy gardening
We are always learning in the garden - it is a classroom every day. I tend to leave the bugs to look after themselves (apart from the odd slug) hoping that nature will help out. Hoping your plants have survived............

Thanks for your help. I have watered loads. I have also picked off the best flowers and leaves. One thing for sure. It will never happen again. Hoping I have saved my little plants. Will let you know..... But I am scared.
Thanks to you all. I don't know where the Weedol came from, Its a mystery. I think I cut off enough flowers & leaves to save everything apart from a foxglove & some bedding Dahlias, even though I spoiled the show a bit. The funniest thing is that the age old Clematis Montana got drowned in the stuff because it had a ton of black fly & it did no damage at all...thanks again, you are all nice...
weedolis quick. It's been 6 days, if things look OK they probably are.
also is a contact weedkiller and not absorbed like glyphosate. I wouuld expect death of annuals but probable survival of shrubs. Let us know. Good luck
ok, thanks everyone. I have watered lots. I have removed the lovely hydrangea flowers, hoping to save the plant. I feel so silly. It's not like me at all. My garden is so precious to me. I respect wildlife, & was so happy that my garden was full of bumble beas thanks. Going to water again....

Don't be scared ... a disaster in the garden is simply an excuse to buy more plants

It's all a learning curve jingo. Think of it as an opportunity for new planting
