Help...Pompom Primula

My pompom primulas have started flowering which is great, but, they are flowering in the leaf rosette. They have'nt pushed up a stem. I moved them in Autumn when I did the garden shuffle. Can anyone tell me why this is please? Thankyou.

Are they definitely the same plants which grew flower stems last year, Sam? I only ask because primulas happily cross-pollinate and any self-sown babies tend to revert to be more like the original native form.
Some of my snowdrops are very close to the ground this year, could it be a weather related thing?

Just braved the rain, is it anything like this Sam, these stalks will be at least a foot high very soon.
