Repot Peony
I have a peony ive grown from a bulb in a largish pot but now think its time to repot into a bigger one. When is the best time to do this, I don't want it getting too big before I repot it, It doesn't have buds or anything yet as only planted it this year but its doing really well.

I would tend to repot when it goes dormant, you are less likely to do damage to it and can see exactly where growing eyes for next year are. You probably know already to plant it at the same depth but if it is dormant there is a good chance you can repot and it will flower next year as it won't realise it has been moved
September/October onwards is usually a good time. What type of peony is it and what size is it now? Just thinking it might be better planted in the ground unless you have a really big pot...
