Hibiscus leaves have white patches...is this a problem?

The Hibiscus at the front of my house has developed some white ptaches on some of the leaves. Is this a problem or a pest and is it anything I should worry about. The Hibiscus has flowered every year without a problem and always put on a good show...I can't see any issuse with the flower buds developing.

BTW - the main root looks incredibly close to the house wall: normally you would plant something at least 30cm away so that water can get down to the roots and to stop structural damage. If that was my house, I would already have dug it out and inspected the wall below ground level to make sure nothing is damaged...
hi, noticed this on mine today as well. I bought it flowering last year (aldi) and don't expect much from it but interested in the suggestions.
I have one of these growing in a pot (white flowers that look like crushed tissues). It does this every year, I don't know why, I take it as a sign that it probably needs feeding. The leaves always start quite yellow and get darker green as the season progresses.
I would definitely move that one though as it is far too close to the wall. They don't mind a good prune either, and always look much better flower wise after a good prune.
I've often seen them looking like that and to me the leaves never look lively. I dumped mine
I like a plant that looks good as a plant, not just as a carrier of flowers
