Hi, does anyone have any suggestions/receipes for my roses once I have dead headed? Does anyone make their own rose oil? I always feel so guilty if I just throw them out

To make rose oil the roses have to be fragrant more the better, dry the petals so there won't be mould in the oil.use almond oil that's the best for this, get a jar crush the petals and fill the jar half way fill with oil shake it and leave for 2 weeks. Get a cloth strain the oil squeeze the petals. Do it again with same oil until you get the strength that you want.
Never done it but might need them fresh rather than dead-headed?
