  • Holes are in the middle of the leaf and no slime tracks

    That is snails, turn the leaves over and you might spot some.

    Hello , definitely snails / slugs

    however as an alternative to slug pellets , I use horticultural grit , it is to sharp for the creature to crawl over , I have used it very successfully for my hostas for many years and I let them flower
