Hello, I bought a white delphinium off Crocus web site two years ago .....last summer and now this summer the flowers have had no flowers on them apart from one or two , one spike was totally empty of flowers .....the plant in whole I think looks really healthy , lot of healthy foliage but what's wrong with the flowers ....
please help ......

I've had the same - I thought slugs or snails (as they love the early growth and new leaves) but no sign of slime. Lost a lot this yr to slugs and snails, but don't think they're the culprit here. Probably be some sort of bug.
I'm sure an answer will be along soon.

I haven't ever seen any birds on them ......
