Flower seeds to grow now

hi folks 

any ideas on what flower seeds are best to start growing at the moment?

    Hi Nick,

    You can sow all sorts of biennials, like wall flowers, honesty or fox gloves now.

    don't forget the sunflowers, sweet peas. slightly late but bear in mind it can be warm until middle of October so plenty of time to grow

    I sowed foxgloves, Bowles golden grass, aquilegias, and sweet rocket at about this time last year (if not later).

    You could make an early sowing of pansies and viola's: I sowed some viola towards the end of July last year and they started flowering in September and are just about finished now!
