It was brilliant, loved the gardeners and the planting was gorgeous.  The young lad with long hair was amazing image Hope he can take a career in gardening after this programme and everyone sees his work image

I haven't seen the programme yet as we like to record tv to watch later that way we can fast forward through the brain washing, sorry adverts. There are many degrees of autism you may know people already who suffer from it remember that some disability isn't always obvious.

Hope you enjoy it Barry and hope you think that it does indeed highlight that  autism like you say does come in varying degrees and think the wonderful gardeners showed someone like me that beautifully.  Certainly made me very aware image

It may be just me but I felt quite uncomfortable watching it. Don't know why, perhaps I was concerned that the programme makers would take 'advantage' of people's disabilities and/or 'unusualness'. The design was good and so was the planting although it did ignore how the garden got from its original state to its 'ready to be planted' state.Methinks lots of men and possibly machinery were involved - certainly it was not done by the group of participants.  And who chose the plants?

I'm looking forward to watching the programme this evening but was a bit concerned how the subject would be presented especially after reading Harry Mount's review in the Telegraph online, the encouraging thing for me however wasn't Mr Mount's review but the reaction of the public that his rather negative review received from those who watched the programme and actually understand the subject of autism.

I thought this was a great series. When you compare how the gardeners were on camera to how they were in last night's programme, their confidence has grown. I hope there will be another series as I enjoyed it.

I found out about this too late so only saw the last programme and thoroughly enjoyed it from the presenter/designer's commentary to the drawing out of the different abilities and growing interaction of all the team members and the garden they achieved.

It was a very good programme and I hope there will be more.
