Diseased Cherry tree

I have an edible Cherry tree, roughly 10 years old, which has what appears to be Peach leaf curl.
The tree however, is in full leaf and has 50% falling oval shaped fruit.

The rest of the fruit looks normal.

My neighbour reckons the tree has Canker too. I don't know about that.

Is it to late to spray this tree with something and save it??

I will be devastated to have to have to cut it down.

Peach leaf curl isn't fatal, can't remember details but you remove the leaves and spray it with something in autumn, somebody on here will be able to tell youimage

Canker I think is a brown ooze coming from a branch or trunk, pictures would help
