Can anyone give me some tips on how to kill Aphids , they are covering all my Dahlias, no sooner do I squash them, they are back !
Please help !

I spray mine with a garlic spray and rub as many off as possible, I had the same bother last year and this seamed to work, I haven't got a lot of dahlias so it doesn't take too long to do
I've had this problem this year for the first time. I was so angry when I noticed as the past years have had no problems with them at all! Some of the flower heads were drooping with the weight of them and the fact they were sucking all the goodness out of them.
I've cut some of the infected heads off but I have to admit to buying a spray from the garden centre and blasting the ****ers!
i got dahlis and they too are covered in black aphids i just spray them with weal washing up liquid and water, i check them most days as they really build up quick but the spray kills them.
