No damage here thank goodness - well none that I've seen anyway.  I'm just so glad that we've got some rain - the waterbutts were dry and the lawn was the colour of cardboard!

My peas look like someone has been lying down on them image

  • Nothing too drastic, but my Roses are bowing their blooms a little.
Like Dove I'm actually rather thankful for the rain image

And not a drop of rain on Arrakis (aka the Dordogne)...

Plants here are used to heavy rain so no damage in the garden, but when i went for a walk today I saw a huge Sycamore branch torn off a tree with combination of rain and wind.

The heavy rain and mega storm we had three night ago didn't do any damage and now the plants & weeds image have perked up. We've had odd showers amongst the sunshine for the last couple of days, veg might need watering again tomorrow in S. Yorks.

A friend in Cornwall says she was 'struck by lightning' the other day, or as near as dammit, as she touched a bedside lamp at the same time as a lightning bolt made a power surge that earthed through her arm and knocked out their electricity !!! image
