As much sun as possible, stick your thumb in the soil/Potting mix to determine moisture level, and only keep it moist enough to ensure the roots get a drink. Don't get it too wet.
I have just heard this from a friend : If the flower buds turned into woody 'balls', then prune just below these ' woody balls ,and water occasionally,ready for next years flowering.I hope this helps.Michel.
